Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) honoured Sharif Al Ahmad after a 39-year career in the authority. He held many positions, achieved numerous accomplishments, and had good relationships with the employees and the customers.

Saeed Sultan Al Suwaidi, Chairman of SEWA, handed over a shield award and a certificate of honour in the presence of several directors of departments in the authority.

Al Ahmad confirmed that his career, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, allowed him to serve the citizens of Sharjah. He stated that he learnt a lot and gained countless experiences from various departments in the authority, such as the Human Resources Department, the Water Emergency Department, the Electricity Emergency Department, and many other departments.
