During the lecture
Sharjah 24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) organised two lectures on developing students’ personalities, leadership spirit, and effective cooperation with colleagues
Dr Al Albani Al Idrisi, Assistant Professor in the College of Arts and Humanities at AQU, presented the first lecture, entitled “With Values, We Rise”.

Al Idrisi discussed the concept of values, their characteristics and importance, and the benefits that accrue to the student regarding their commitment. Love, coexistence, and acceptance of others are the most prominent of these values, as the late, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, along with the rest of the Emirates’ founders gave the most wonderful example of tolerance, peace, security, and cultural pluralism.

The Guidance and Psychological Support Department of the Deanship of Student Affairs organised the second lecture, which was on the safe return to universities. The lecture, entitled “The University, a Turning Point in My Life”, covered students’ preparation for the academic year and the continuance of building the students’ personalities in the cognitive, social, and cultural aspects. It also covered the importance of students’ adaptation to the university, time and behaviour management, and external appearances.
