Sharjah 24: Rafid Automotive Solutions, a subsidiary of Sharjah Asset Management Holding, the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah, and Al Hamriyah Municipality signed a MoU, on Wednesday, for maintenance, repair, and towing of all municipality vehicles.

The agreement was signed at the Al Hamriyah Municipality headquarters between His Excellency Salim Saeed Al Midfa, CEO of Rafid Automotive Solutions and His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Jassim Al Shamsi, General Manager of Al Hamriyah Municipality, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides.

Al Midfa says Rafid is committed to provide innovative solutions for vehicles using latest technologies and a team of professionals to support the needs of vehicle owners according to the best international standards for vehicle inspection, maintenance and repair. 

According to Al Midfa, the partnership with Al Hamriyah Municipality will contribute to the expansion of company's services to various cities and regions of Sharjah. "We welcome partnerships with government and private organizations in Sharjah in order to provide the best services for their vehicles; and are committed to quality, efficiency and speed of delivery, preserving assets, and enhancing safety and security measures,” he added.

For his part, Al Shamsi said that signing this agreement with Rafid allows Al Hamriyah Municipality to obtain maintenance and repair services for its fleet of vehicles in a more efficient manner by dealing with one company that has the necessary experience in this field, noting that the municipality is always looking forward to provide the highest levels of safety and security for drivers of its vehicles as well as road users and residents of the region.

Rafid will carry out all routine services, such as check-ups, maintenance, repairs on accidents as well as technical or mechanical issues in addition to providing recovery services exclusively for the automotive fleet of Al Hamriyah Municipality in its workshop in Al-Azra, Sharjah.
