Sharjah Children upskills 260 children in media field

Sharjah 24: With the aim of creating media leaders that contribute to community service, Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators' Sharjah Children (SC), in cooperation with Sharjah Media City “Shams”, organised a series of virtual media training courses held as part of “Future Media Professional” programme, targeting approximately 260 male and female participants in the age group 8-12 years.
Held from 15-24 August, through the “TEMS” video communication technology, the programme covered themes such as ‘Content Creation for Young Influencers’, ‘Video Production’ with smart phones, using the "CapCut" programme, and ‘Presenting on Camera’.

In this regard, Aisha Ali Al Kaabi, Acting Director of Sharjah Children, said: "Through the Future Media Programme, which is a starting point for the participants to realise their future aspirations, Sharjah children seeks to attract talented media professionals and give them the opportunity to be familiar with the basics and various media tools, as well as the skills that qualify them to be media professionals in the future so that they contribute to serving their community.”

Al Kaabi thanked Sharjah Media City "Shams" for its cooperation in implementing media courses for children, its contribution to the success of the Future Media Programme, and the achievement of its goals of qualifying a constellation of young media professionals by discovering, nurturing and developing their media talents and abilities through specialised courses in various media arts.
