Sharjah24: Colonel Hamad Al Riyami, Acting Director of the Airports & Border Points Police Dept. received a delegation from the Ports and Airports Security Police Directorate at the Abu Dhabi Police, headed by Lt. Colonel Salem Radi Al Rashidi, Head of the Electronic Ports Security Systems Department, and Captain Mohamed Ali Al Khaili, in the presence of a number of specialised police officers.

The visit came with the aim of reviewing the best practices and innovations applied at the Sharjah Airport Police Department and Khatmat Milaha Border Post.

Colonel Hamad Al Riyami welcomed the delegation, expressing his happiness for holding such benchmarks, which confirm the keenness of the two leaderships to enhance joint cooperation, in a way that supports their goals in all areas of security work, wishing for the continuation of this cooperation, which is aimed at developing and achieving the strategic objectives of the Ministry of Interior.

The delegation was briefed on the best practices, and innovative systems and mechanisms in force in port security, as well as an introductory field tour about the specialisations in force at Sharjah International Airport.

At the end of the visit, Colonel Al-Riyami presented the visiting delegation with a commemorative shield, and the visiting delegation thanked the Sharjah Police for the good reception and hospitality, praising the tangible positive cooperation between the two sides in many security fields.
