Sharjah 24 – KUNA: The Egyptian Military announced that nine of its personnel were either injured or killed while 13 extremists were killed in clashes in northern Sinai on Thursday.

The Egyptian Armed Forces Spokesperson Gharib Abdel-Hafez gave a statement revealing that this confrontation took place during the military's anti-terrorist operation in Sinai.

He added that 15 automatic weapons and ammo supplies were seized, along motorbikes used by extremists to carryout terrorist acts.
