Sharjah24: After a difficult suffering that lasted for 11 years, Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD) was able to return the smile to a mother, who was deprived of her legal right to practice her motherhood with her two children, after they were hidden and moved from one place to another, so that the mother could not know their whereabouts. However, the Department, in cooperation with the Sharjah Police, was able to locate the two children and return them to their mother.

Amina Al Rifai, Director of the Child and Family Protection Center in the Department, confirmed that the Department is keen to provide various types of support and assistance in order to protect and secure the rights of children and those without social care and to provide an appropriate environment.

The department calls upon community members not to exploit children in their marital and family disputes, because this will harm the children's psyche and behavior, and it also called on community members to cooperate and unite by reporting cases of violence, abuse, or suspected cases of abuse against children through the hotline for the missing Social Welfare 800700.
