Sharjah24: During the 1st episode of “Sharjah 24” Traffic Awareness Program called the, "Defining moments ", the public will be educated on the local traffic laws, being introduces to some of the bad behaviours committed by motorists, especially the violations of entering the road without ensuring a clear way, with its fine amounted to 400 dirhams, and 4 traffic points.

“Sharjah 24” Traffic and Awareness Program " Defining moments " will be presented every Sunday and Tuesday, in cooperation with the Department of Traffic and Patrols, and the Department of Media and Public Relations of Sharjah Police, aiming of enhancing traffic awareness among members of society, and shedding light on the most prominent violations and wrong behaviours committed by some motorists, as well as reviewing the violations for jeopardizing road users. 

During its first episode, “Sharjah 24” highlights the traffic violations and fines of entering the road without ensuring a clear way, encouraging all drivers to comply with the traffic laws in the country. 

The Sharjah Police General Command warned of negative effects of drivers’ behaviours mistakes on traffic safety, calling for the need to ensure that the road is clear while driving, and encouraging the individuals to adhere to traffic regulations, with the aim of avoiding traffic accidents. Sharjah Police also highlighted the significance of raising the public awareness related to traffic safety regulations, contributing in preserving the safety of everybody.
