SIH holds first coordination meeting of 21st SINF

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) held its first meeting dedicated to the Sharjah International Narrator Forum (SINF) under the chairmanship of Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the SIH. The meeting discussed various topics and the most important details that the Forum will witness over its days at the end of next September.
Al Musallam said that the Sharjah International Narrator Forum enjoys unlimited support from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who emphasies the importance of oral heritage, traditional experiences, and popular knowledge and practices.

For her part, Aisha Al Hossan, Director of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage's Arab Heritage Centre, and the general coordinator of the SINF, stated that this year’s edition of the Forum, which is seen as a pivotal event on the map of cultural work in the UAE, the Arab world and the world at large, will witness new comprehensive and diverse topics with focus on narrators and popular knowledge.

The Sharjah Institute for Heritage continues to develop this heritage event in various areas, especially since the forum is constantly working to draw attention to the importance of oral heritage.
