Sharjah 24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honored a number of Sharjah Customs employees, for being able to thwart an attempt to bring narcotic substances into the UAE. Al Zari honoured the employees in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Seaports and Customs Authority.

Sharjah Police was keen to honour those who contributed to maintaining the security and safety of the community, and to extend appreciation to their great contribution to arrest smugglers of  illegal goods through Sharjah seaport.

The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police praised the employees’ achievement, stressing the great role played by the leadership's strategic partners in protecting the security of Sharjah borders from potential risks, and in achieving the common goals in protecting the security and stability of the nation.
