Sharjah Youth concludes 1st phase of 'Let’s Summer' camp

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Youth, affiliated with the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating of Leaders and Innovators, concluded the activities of the first phase of its virtual camp "Let’s Summer.”
Madiha Al Majayda, an expert in education and training of drawing and wooden crafts at AETC Training Centre, presented a technical workshop on sustainability entitled "Recycling". During the workshop, the participants learned about the importance of recycling in achieving sustainability and preserving the environment.

Muthanna Khalaf, Specialised Programmes Administrator at Sharjah Youth, presented a workshop entitled "The Basics of Agriculture", during which the participants learned about plants and their life cycle, and what the plant needs to grow, and they also learned about the importance of trees in limiting climate change.

Sharjah Youth also launched the hydroponics programme, which extends over a month, with 4 interactive workshops, presented by Dr. Hisham Al Sayed Al Mousawi, who specialises in hydroponics. During the first workshop, he touched on the importance of agriculture, the definition of hydroponics, its advantages and the most important tools used in hydroponics.
