Sharjah24 – AFP: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that more deaths expected as government confirms easing of Covid curbs, confirms\ing that England will lift most of its Covid curbs on July 19th, despite a recent surge in cases. Scientists are fretting that the ending of measures such as mandatory mask-wearing and social distancing spells trouble, and said other guidance such as working from home should also stay in place.
Commenting on this, Boris Johnson, British Prime Minister said, Boris Johnson, British Prime Minister said, "We know that we are going to see more hospitilisations and more deaths from Covid, but we also know that this wave was clearly foreseen when we first set out that roadmap in February.  "

He added, "We also know that if we were now to delay this fourth step, for instance, to September, or later, then we would be reopening as the weather gets colder and as the virus acquires a greater natural advantage when school are back. "

Concluding his statement, the British Prime Minister said, "We will stick to our plan to lift legal restrictions and to lift social distancing, but we expect and recommend that people wear a face covering in crowded and enclosed spaces where you come into contact with those you don't normally meet such as on public transport. "
