SSC sets an integral plan for the new “Our Holiday is Different”

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) announced the virtual registration of the Sharjah Summer event, “Our Holiday is Different” the 1st to the 26th of August, four days a week, where it will be held remotely via Zoom, in compliance with the preventive and precautionary measures, and it aims to include 100 participants aging 8 to 12 years old. Sharjah clubs will participate in many interesting events that provide the opportunity for participants to enjoy the activities that come within the framework of SSC plans for youth during the summer period.
Saeed Ali Al Ajil, a sports expert and in charge of the Chairman of the Council work, indicated that the SSC Summer activities “Our holiday is Different” will continue this year, as the Council is keen to hold this event every year, and it will not stop despite the conditions of the Corona pandemic, as it will be held remotely within the Council’s approach to target young people by participating in many useful and wonderful programmes that will be included in the event. 

Al Ajil stated that the Event translates the vision and directions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and the follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council.

Saeed Al Ajel added that the aim of such an event is to invest the youth’s time developing their patriotic sense, helping them to benefit from the useful programmes, and giving them the opportunity to practice their favourite hobbies while preserving public safety. 

Yasser Omar Al Doukhi, Director of the Sports and Community Events Department, indicated that different clubs of Sharjah will participate, to achieve the desired goal of the Event, developing various programmes including entertainment, religious, cultural, sports, heritage and health programmes.
