Sharjah24: At the conclusion of his visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Excellency Ayman Othman Al Barout, Secretary-General of Arab Parliament for the Child (APC), met with the UAE Ambassador to Jordan, His Excellency Ahmed Ali Al Balushi.

During his meeting at the embassy headquarters in the capital, Amman, Al Barout briefed the ambassador on the various works of the opening of the third regular session of the Jordanian Children’s Parliament and aspects of cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to consolidate an experience that advances children’s abilities to discuss their issues.

Ambassador Ahmed Ali Al Balushi welcomed Ayman Othman Al Barout’s visit, praising the role played by the Arab Parliament for the child in building the personalities of parliamentary children and what it seeks to consolidate relations with Jordan to enrich its experience in this field, and praised the efforts of the Arab Parliament for the child in developing the capabilities of the Arab child.

Al Barout briefed the ambassador on the various efforts that the Arab Parliament seeks for the child as one of the institutions affiliated with the League of Arab States, with the support of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the Union and Ruler of Sharjah, to care for Arab children and enable them to perform their duties towards their homelands.

Al Barout reviewed the most important parliamentary sessions that were held in the last period since the establishment of the parliament, which amounted to five sessions, and preparations are currently being made to hold the second session of Parliament during the month of July.

At the end of the meeting, Ayman Othman Al Barout presented the shield of the Arab Parliament for the child to Ambassador Ahmed Ali Al Balushi in appreciation of his role and efforts.
