Sheikha Jawaher an icon of humanitarian work: Voluntary Award

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work congratulated Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, on receiving an honourary doctorate from the University of Sharjah, in appreciation and recognition of her distinguished achievements in various humanitarian and social fields.
Congratulating Sheikha Jawaher on the occasion, Dr. Jassim Mohammed Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work’s Board of Trustees, highlighted and commended Sheikha Jawaher’s  achievements on the scientific, social, humanitarian, charitable and voluntary levels, as well as her role in social work and constant giving in the service of women’s issues and their empowerment, as well as the family, in addition to her unwavering  and untiring support for the issues of Emirati youth.

He added, “We, at the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work, express our pride in Sheikha Kawaher’s new achievement, which is a new feather in the cap of her  pioneering contributions in the fields of education, women, childhood and humanity. We stress the importance of the role played by Sheikha Jawaher’s institutions in providing all services and activities to meet the needs of the family, especially that the award is a partner of these institutions in their existing approach to community service.”
