Sharjah 24: Based on the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), affirmed the Chamber's keenness to support and develop the exhibition industry to enhance the emirate's position as one of the most important leading cities in this area.

This was announced following the opening of the second edition of "Emirates Jewels," the first Emirati event of its kind specialising in diamond jewellery, gold, silver, pearls, precious stones, luxury watches, and perfumes, organised by the Expo Centre Sharjah with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry over four days under the slogan "Sparkle. Beauty," with more than 100 exhibitors.

Al Owais emphasised the significance of such events and exhibitions in stimulating the movement of sales and trade at the local level, and stated that the Chamber worked to provide all forms of support for them based on its mission to promote the prosperity of the commercial, industrial, and professional sectors at all levels, including the gold and jewellery industry and trade in Sharjah.
