Sharjah24: His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, chaired the meeting that was held between the Municipality and the Al Hamriyah Comprehensive Police Station and Maritime Rescue Center of the Sharjah Police General Command, aiming to discuss the joint efforts and ways to enhance the security and safety system for the visitors of the Al Hamriyah Beach.

During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Al Hamriyah Municipality, aspects of bilateral cooperation between the Al Hamriyah Municipality and Sharjah Police were reviewed. 

At the beginning of the meeting, Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi praised the role of the Sharjah Police and its permanent cooperation in developing plans to preserve the visitors of the Al Hamriyah beach, stressing that maintaining public safety is an integral part of the municipality’s responsibility snd the police, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to ensure the public safety and preserve the lives of the public.

The coordination meeting between the two sides dealt with a number of joint work axes, which emphasised and recommended intensifying the security presence and patrols, especially during peak times and official holidays on Al Hamriyah Beach. The meeting called for continuing the preparation of joint and proactive work plans to ensure the safety and security of beach visitors.

The meeting focused on continuing to educate the public about the need to prevent swimming at night.
