Sharjah24: His Excellency Ali Mehd Al Suwaidi, Chairman of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC), stressed the importance of what the Council has achieved through its work system aimed at advancing the process of development, progress and excellence in government performance.

He pointed out that the general sessions of the Council, which in the current session amounted to nineteen sessions, were put forward in line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to put the citizen on the top of its priorities and secure a happy life for him and his family members in a society brimming with prosperity and stability.

This came during the last meeting of the SCC within the work of the second ordinary session of the tenth legislative term at the council's headquarters in Sharjah.

At the beginning of his speech, Al Suwaidi praised the great support given by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to the Council and his constant interest in all the issues and topics that the Council presents and the recommendations it presents, as well. On His Highness' approval of the amendments approved by the Council on the various articles of draft laws.

Then the office body discussed the plans that were included on the agenda for the next session and what will be included in plenary sessions and parliamentary questions, in addition to discussing proposals and projects submitted to the council on the general topics proposed for discussion during the next session and continuing the role of the permanent committees in presenting their plans to converge with the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
