Sharjah24: The Kalba Municipality (KM) has contracted with a specialised company to provide rescue services and enhance safety standards for beachgoers, in the 3 designated swimming areas.

Yaqoub Al-Saher, head of the Municipal Operations and Inspection Department in the Municipality of Kalba, revealed that the municipality has taken a number of measures aimed at reorganising the practice of swimming on the city's beach.

In statements to “Sharjah 24”, he said that the municipality has contracted with a specialised company that will provide 22 lifeguards throughout the three swimming areas, ensuring the safety standards for beachgoers.

He added that the Municipal Operations and Inspection Department will provide the necessary facilities for the company to carry out its role,calling on the public to follow the preventive instructions and abide by the instructions of the competent authorities to maintain the safety of beachgoers.
