Creative workshops round off SC's participation in SCRF

During the event
Sharjah 24: Sharjah Children (SC), an affiliate of the 'Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators, offered a series of reading and creative workshops and sessions towards the conclusion of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF)’s 12th edition.
The workshops and sessions were held through Zoom platform with the collaboration with regional and international writers and artists.  Rashid Al Ghafri, a member of a Folk Theatre in the Sultanate of Oman presented "How to read a story” workshop, and Hamas Al Dibs presented "Nobody loves me" session.

Other workshops provided by a group of specialists and bright children, members of the Sharjah Children's Foundation, included "A beautiful story" by Alia Ahmed from the Child Centre in Raqqa, "Unleash your imagination" reading workshop by Alia Hareb. In addition to, the reading workshop offered by the pavilion in collaboration with the "Fanan Fund" on the novel "Tankat Yadu" by Asma Kalban.

Maryam, Shama and Yousif Al Marzouki from the Child Centre in Hirah presented "Ocean's fantasy”. Other distinguished workshops were “3D characters”, “My pen” and “Complete the Story".

Sharjah Children has been actively involved in the festival; believing in the importance of advancing future generations, developing their capabilities, enriching their cultural harvest, and making them aware of the importance of reading to develop and expand their imaginations and perceptions.

SC's participation also aims to educate the public about the Sharjah Children Foundation’s mission, as well as the importance of reading in developing and broadening children’s imagination and perspectives.
