SEC adopts cooperation agreement between SDHR and ADRPBF

Sharjah24: Sharjah24: Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sharjah Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council (SEC), on Tuesday, chaired a meeting of the Council at the Sharjah Ruler’s office, in the presence of Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Deputy Chairman of the Council.
The Council discussed several topics on its agenda in line with the vision and the development in the Emirate of Sharjah to serve its citizens and residents.

During the meeting, the Council approved the cooperation agreement to be concluded between the Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) and Abu Dhabi Retirement Pensions and Benefits Fund (ADRPBF), aiming at enhancing cooperation between the two institutions and strengthening  effective partnership to achieve common strategic goals, and exchanging information and studies related to the common relationship with the competencies of the two parties in their field of work.



The agreement also aims to coordinate the implementation of joint projects with the aim of ensuring prompt and efficient achievement, as well as raising the efficiency of digital transformation in services and operations.



The Council discussed a set of proposals of the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) related to its effective partnership with the service delivery centers, contributing in providing customers with multiple means to obtain service through the Department and its digital and electronic channels or service centers and branches in cities and regions of the emirate.



The SEC directed to provide the best services to the customers, promoting business continuity in accordance with high-quality services in a shorter period of time and easy procedures.

The Sharjah Executive Council reviewed the report of the Sharjah Foundation for the Noble Quran & Sunnah Establishment for the years 2019-2020, including its achievements in accordance with its terms of reference, including the administrative and operational aspects of the Holy Qur’an memorisation sessions, and cooperation with government and educational entities, institutions, and private memorisation centers.



The number of affiliates of the Foundation’s seminars reached more than 25,000 students in 1,332 episodes during the year 2019, while the number of affiliates in the seminars that were held via video call during the year 2020 due to the effects of the Corona pandemic reached more than 16,000 students in 774 episodes. The report also included a set of the Foundation’s programs.



The Council commended the great role that the Foundation plays in serving the Noble Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and its keenness to provide seminars in most neighborhoods of the cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah with supervising them directly and permanently.
