Sharjah24: The Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah (DIAS) has announced that the mosques and musallahs will open 15 minutes before the prayer and close immediately after, with the continuation of the temporary closure of all ablution facilities, affirming that elderly people over the age of 60 and children under the age of 12 should not go to mosques for their own safety.

The Department stated that mosques will open 15 minutes before prayers and will be closed immediately after prayers, stressing the importance of adhering to all the precautionary measures.

The Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah also stresses that people exposed to infected people of the virus, and people with chronic diseases are prohibited from attending Eid prayers.
