Sharjah24: In the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, the activities of the tenth edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Majlis, organised by the Sharjah Press Club concluded on Monday.

Tariq Saeed Allay, Director of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, said that the tenth session of the Majlis was full of many dialogue sessions and distinguished guests from the preachers and the cultural, artistic and sports elites.

He explained that the closing session of the council shed light on comic art and its role in highlighting societal issues, and its values and messages, in addition to highlighting the reality of this art in the Arab world.

Emirati artist Ahmed Al Jasmi and Egyptian artist Shaima Saif participated in the session, which was held at the Khorfakkan Amphitheater, in the presence of a crowd of artists, directors and critics.

Allay thanked all parties and individuals from the participants and sponsors for the activities of the Council, which in its tenth session was distinguished by its inclusiveness in its topics, as well as the diversity in holding its sessions between the cities of Sharjah, Khorfakkan and Kalba.
