Sharjah24: Al Khalidiya Suburb Council affiliated to Districts and Villages Affairs Department (DVAD) launched a new social initiative within the framework of its series of initiatives and activities that bring together the community and the people of the suburb under the name of "Fwala Ramadan Dates".

The initiative embodies one of the original customs that society has incorporated in the past. This initiative works to revive Ramadan family customs and also works to consolidate the bonds of human bonding and brotherhood within the holy month of Ramadan.

The initiative aimed at Al Khalidiya suburb council distributing 1969 cartons of ready-made dates prepared according to the best services to the people and families of the suburb, and the council began distributing packages of dates on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

In this regard, His Excellency Khalfan Saeed Al Marri, Chairman of the Council, stated that the launch of the Ramadan Dates initiative is one of the initiatives aimed at strengthening social ties between the family.
