SCC cmte. consolidates sustainability of economic sector

Sharjah 24: The Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) discussed, during its meeting at the council’s headquarters in Sharjah, continuing its work to enhance the sustainability of the economic sector in the Emirate of Sharjah and its recovery from the repercussions of COVID-19. The meeting is part of the Committee’s work for the second regular session of the tenth legislative term.
The committee affirmed its work methodology, which converges with the policies of the Sharjah government, which is confidently developing the economic sector and attracting investments with the aim of continuing to support the work of institutions concerned with the economy and developing their plans for the sustainability and growth of private sector establishments.

Chaired by Saif Mohammed Jassim Al Midfa, through visual communication Tuesday morning, the committee pointed to the continuation of its work within the SCC's work system, which is based enhancing the local economic movement in the emirate in accordance with the best international practices and promising opportunities.

Al Midfa valued the directives of the wise leadership for providing a competitive business environment characterised by flexibility and speed of procedures and providing possible facilities to ensure business continuity and the growth of the economic sector in general and overcoming the repercussions of Corona.

After that, the committee discussed a number of topics on its agenda and viewed the reports received, discussed them and gave appropriate opinion.
