Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Friday afternoon, laid the cornerstone of the Souq Al Jubail project in Kalba City, one of the specialised service projects that will meet all the needs of families in the region.

Souq Al Jubail project in Kalba is an ideal destination within the city's various development plans, as the market will provide families and visitors with many integrated services that are represented in an array of shops and sections for vegetables, fruits, fish and meat, as well as a number of food outlets.

Sitting on an area of more than 352,000 square feet, four times the area of the existing market, the new Souq Al Jubail, Kalba, will include many different facilities such as parking lots, sales service facilities and others for market workers, which will make it a distinguished location for many integrated and necessary services for the residents of the region.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah reviewed all the operational and engineering plans, building design and maps of the project, and directed expedition of work and provision of all services for the convenience of shoppers and market visitors.
