Sharjah 24: His Excellency Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City (Shams), stressed the importance of launching "Connected Circles Middle East", which benefits the media sector in Sharjah and the UAE, as well as government entities and the private sector.

His Excellency Dr. Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Media City (Shams), stated that based on Shams's role in transferring knowledge and benefiting the media sector within the UAE and in Sharjah, comes the signing of an agreement with "Connected Circles".

His Excellency continued that this lead to the establishment of "Connected Circles Middle East", aiming to benefit from the efforts of the company, as Shams applied standards and used the LinkedIn platform, which is specialised in the business sector, in a cooperation that continued for two years, during which Shams communicated with many specialists in several areas.

His Excellency added to "Sharjah 24", that the agreement would benefit the media sector in Sharjah and the UAE, as well as benefit government entities and the private sector, as this is one of the roles of Shams in creating a market in such fields and services.

His Excellency highlighted that such practices improve the content of digital platforms, which is an essential part of creating an online communication strategy. Accordingly, executives must assess their online presence, and think about initiating actions that are consistent and embody the values and vision of the company, as well as work to build their image.

His Excellency emphasised that digital media is witnessing a remarkable acceleration, as seen the partnership with "Connected Circles", regarding the value of virtual participation, maintaining that such type of commercial projects are in line with our vision of Sharjah as an Emirate with a diversified economy that provides tremendous potential in the world of entrepreneurship.
