Noura Salem: Fully equipped unit at AQH ‘regenerative Centre’

Sharjah 24: Dr. Nora Salem, Head of the Professional Development and Regenerative Medicine Department at Al Qasimi Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, affirmed that the Regenerative Medicine Centre houses the latest advanced medical devices to treat wounds suffered by diabetics, the elderly and those with critical wounds, according to the highest international standards.
She said that the Regenerative Medicine Centre, which has been inaugurated at Al Qasimi Hospital in Sharjah, offers plasma treatments, SFV treatments, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.


In an exclusive statement to “Sharjah 24”, Dr. Salem added that one of the most prominent treatments provided by the Centre is a four-dimensional printer to print the adipose tissue through the Dr.INVIVO device, indicating that the treatment takes 45 minutes under local anesthetic, which is a very safe technique for the elderly and diabetics.


The Centre is also equipped with a unit for laser treatments and includes special devices to clean wounds from dead cells and stimulate collagen and autologous cells to help close wounds, in addition to providing plasma treatments that are taken from blood, extracted and injected into wounds and critical places to speed up the process of wound healing.


Finally, the patient is placed inside the available capsules for a period of 45-60 minutes with the aim of cleaning the body from toxins and stimulating cells to close wounds, in addition to the smart dressings.
