Sharjah24: The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) in Al Dhaid Branch, organised a virtual workshop on folk proverbs in the UAE, with the aim of introducing participants to importance, status, value, and the purpose of their use.

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Musallam, Chairman of SIH, said: “Emirati folk proverbs are one of the titles of national identity and privacy that reflect the wisdom of previous generations and summarize their experiences and experiences in daily life in a brief and intense manner in various fields.

His Excellency pointed out that all the cultures and civilisations of the world, nations, and social groups are proud of their popular proverbs that embody their ideas and values, and express a large and important part of their customs, traditions and privacy.

The virtual workshop in the institute’s branch in Al Dhaid confirms the continuation of the SIH with its various activities, programmes and activities aimed at continuing to preserve, protect and transmit heritage for generations.
