Hundreds of Sharakah high school students explore the wonders of science at AUS

Sharjah 24: American University of Sharjah (AUS) has recently held its “Sharakah Science Festival 2017,” to highlight the world of science and demonstrate how it applies to our everyday lives. The day-long event saw more than 300 high school students and teachers from 13 Sharakah partner schools visit the university to enhance their understating of how science is applied in the fields of medicine, modern chemistry, and environmental science.

Relay for Life concludes with a burst of positive energy against cancer

Sharjah 24: The MENA region’s first ever Relay for Life concluded with a burst of positive energy on Saturday afternoon at American University Sharjah, when participants who had been walking the university’s athletics track over the previous 24 hours undertook a final ‘Big Balloon Lap.’ The stamina of the ‘relayers’ had received a considerable boost following the event’s closing ceremony, which had highlighted the incredible efforts made by everyone involved.
