Sharjah24:  The Sharjah men's basketball team has qualified for the quarter-finals of the 2024 UAE Basketball Cup following a convincing victory over the Al Bataeh team. With a final score of 90-76, the match took place on Thursday evening at the Al Bataeh Cultural Sports Club gymnasium.

In an impressive display of skill and determination, the Sharjah team emerged victorious in the first leg match with a score of 108-96.

Sharjah emerged victorious in the first and second quarters, with scores of 24-22 and 25-13 respectively. However, Al Bataeh took the lead in the third quarter, scoring 29-19. Sharjah finished the last period with a comfortable 10-point lead, with a score of 22-12.

In an exciting turn of events, the Sharjah team is set to face off against the Al Dhafra team in the upcoming quarter-finals of the UAE Cup. The first leg of this thrilling match will take place next Sunday, followed by a highly anticipated rematch at the Al Sharaqawi Sports Hall on Wednesday, May 15th. The outcome will determine which team will advance to face Al Ahli Dubai Youth team in the semi-finals on May 18th.
