Sharjah24: In line with the Department of Awqaf's commitment to developing a sense of social responsibility and promoting the spirit of initiative, the department has contributed to supporting those affected by the recent unstable weather condition that has impacted the country. This support was provided through the distribution of (81,000) bottles of drinking water in collaboration with the Department of Social Services as part of the "Aman Network" specifically launched to support affected families.

His Excellency Talib Al Mari, the Director General of the Department of Awqaf, said: "This step comes as part of the humanitarian efforts exerted by the department to support the community and uphold the values of giving and social solidarity. Through our vision, we seek to enhance the principles of compassion and unity. We firmly believe in the importance of cooperation and collective work in facing challenges and circumstances, and we are committed to continuously providing the necessary aid and support."

He added: "The UAE has set an admirable example in its swift recovery, thanks to the prompt response of the relevant authorities and their diligent efforts, which have greatly contributed to stabilizing the situation. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed and assisted in mitigating the impact of the low-pressure condition.
