Sharjah 24: His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, today, Thursday, presided over the first meeting of the Board of Trustees of Al Dhaid University.

His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah welcomed the BOT members, acknowledging their expertise and expressing confidence in their ability to contribute to the university's advancement.
The meeting saw the approval of key committees such as the Academic Committee, chaired by Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashemi; Compliance and Internal Audit Committee chaired by Dr Musabah Saeed Al Ketbi; Finance Committee chaird by Engineer Ali Saeed bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi; and Resource Development Committee chaird by Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji.
Discussions during the meeting encompassed the university's vision, policies, objectives, and operational procedures aligned with its ambitious goals. Updates on the university's construction progress, including the provision of facilities, classrooms, laboratories, and technological infrastructure to support education, were also presentedز
The meeting saw the presence of Dr. Engineer Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock in Sharjah; Engineer Ali Saeed bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Public Works; Dr. Muhadditha Al Hashemi, Chairwoman of the Sharjah Private Education Academy; Dr. Mohammed Abdullah bin Howaiden, Chairman of the Al Dhaid Municipal Council; Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chiarman of the Al Mudam Municipal Council; Dr. Aisha Ahmed Mohammed Abu Shalibi, Chancellor of the Al Dhaid University; Dr Peter McCaffery, Director of the Royal Agricultural College in Britain; Dr. Warwick Bayly, Professor of Equine Medicine, Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Washington State University; Dr Salem Zayed Al Tunaiji,  Head of the Emirati Studies Department at the Higher College of Technology; Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, former Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council; Dr Khalifa Musabah bin Yolk Al Ketbi, Director of the Engineering Department at Al Mudam Municipality; Dr. Saeed Hareb Dhahi Al Mansouri, Head of the Human Resources Planning Department at the Sharjah Police General Command; Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Khasouni Al Ketbi, officer in the Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior; Dr Khalfan Khamis Khalfan Al Razi Al Shamsi, Assistant Dean for Scientific Research - Abu Dhabi Police College; and Dr Musabah Saeed Al Ketbi, member of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work.
